The human version

This section explains that the Local Plan has been prepared jointly by Stratford-on-Avon and Warwick District Councils. Once adopted it becomes a statutory Development Plan Document. It will set the vision, objectives and overall strategy for South Warwickshire up to 2050, along with the planning policies that decide the location, scale, type and design of new development. The plan covers new jobs, infrastructure and housing, shaped by climate change and the principles of sustainable development in national planning policy.
