The human version

This section introduces the roads and parking policies, which support the plan's aims of creating attractive places, improving quality of life and connecting people to places. It notes that car ownership and use are high in South Warwickshire because the area is rural and affluent. Too much parking can encourage more driving and discourage walking, cycling and public transport. The policies aim to balance these pressures while still providing enough off-road parking, particularly in town centres.
