The human version (we wrote this, not the council)This policy allocates sites for mixed-use, leisure, community and town centre purposes. The extract covers Tachbrook Country Park at Bishop's Tachbrook, a multifunctional green space on land next to the Tach Brook. The park will provide a green buffer between the village and new housing off Harbury Lane, promote ecology and habitat diversity, potentially help with flood alleviation, and offer a well-connected park for walking, cycling and informal leisure as part of a wider green corridor.

The human version (we wrote this, not the council)This section lists the full set of mixed-use, leisure, community and town centre allocations under Policy DS.6. They include Tachbrook Country Park, 62 hectares safeguarded at the University of Warwick Main Campus, Local Green Spaces at Meon Vale, and town centre sites in Leamington Spa including Chandos Street. In Stratford-upon-Avon, the 2.04 hectare Gateway site is earmarked for a mixed-use scheme including a new World Shakespeare Museum, alongside the Rother Quarter. Other entries cover a new village centre for Studley, and Warwick sites including Myton Community Stadium and St Mary's Lands.
The human version (we wrote this, not the council)This section explains how the criteria for new traveller sites will be applied. Because few sites will meet every criterion, a best-fit approach will be used. Private sites should have no more than 15 pitches, though larger public sites may be acceptable where good management is shown. The councils will explore a negotiated stopping approach to unauthorised encampments, likely alongside other Warwickshire authorities, and an 8-bay transit site with a Traveller support hub is planned at Harbury Lane. It also notes that Travelling Showpeople traditionally live and store their equipment on the same yard.
The human version (we wrote this, not the council)This section covers proposal SOU.1, land east of Southam delivering at least 3,122 homes across 201 hectares between 2028 and 2045. It includes 2.8 hectares of employment land, 13 Gypsy and Traveller pitches, three primary schools, a new secondary school plus a one-form expansion of Southam College, and two local centres. Densities of at least 40 homes per hectare apply. Bus services must improve, including a half-hourly service to Leamington, and development must keep a strong sense of separation between Southam and Napton on the Hill.
The human version (we wrote this, not the council)This section lists the parishes designated as rural areas under the Housing (Right to Buy) (Designated Rural Areas and Designated Regions) (England) (No 2) Order 2004, as referenced in Policy HO.3. All the listed parishes, from Admington to Wootton Wawen, are in Stratford-on-Avon District. No parishes in Warwick District have this designation. The designation affects how certain affordable housing rules apply in these places.
