2.9 Approach to Development in the Countryside
Policies within this section contribute to achieving the following Strategic

2.9.1 Reflecting its largely rural nature, many of the economic generators in South
Warwickshire are located outside of the main urban areas. Whilst the SWLP seeks to
encourage new proposals in the most sustainable locations, it must acknowledge the
reality of the local economy. As such, the SWLP therefore seeks to support existing
businesses and communities to continue to grow and thrive. This approach is
