Hunton Bridge

2 sections of the plan, in document order.

The human version (we wrote this, not the council)This section sets out the site allocations for Hunton Bridge. A single housing site is allocated: Land at Mill Place, with an indicative capacity of 10 homes. The site table records its size, phasing and Green Belt status, together with the site-specific requirements and constraints, including access, heritage and flood risk matters, that future proposals must take into account.

The human version (we wrote this, not the council)This section covers Warner Bros. Studios at Leavesden, a key asset for the creative industries and one of the few UK locations able to host large-scale film production. The studio tour attracts over 6,000 visitors a day at peak times, and Warner Bros. plans to grow the site by around a quarter. The existing 63 hectare studios site (WB1) is safeguarded, and two expansion sites are allocated: land at Gypsy Lane, Hunton Bridge (WB2) and land west of Leavesden Aerodrome (WB3), which already has planning permission and includes public open space.

Tips for a response that counts

One focused page beats ten rambling ones. Read the full guide to consultations

  1. Submit a formal representation. This is the only response that must be considered at the plan’s independent examination. The emails below are worth sending too, but they do not count as representations. Open the official response portal

This portal is one form for the whole plan, and it asks which policy or site allocation you are commenting on. Quote the policy reference and page numbers shown here in your answer so your point is logged against the right part.

Write your comments before you open the portal: a notes app, an email draft or paper all work. Paste each one in and keep a copy. Ticking policies as you read builds the draft for you on the My response page.

  2. Email your ward councillors. They voted on this plan and represent you. The draft raises the consultation window and the missing costs.
